Paediatric ECG Referrals
Important Restriction
In surgery we cannot do an ECG for any patients under the age of 18. Please do not book patients under 18 in for an ECG.
Referral Guidelines by Age
Patients Aged 16-18
Referral Pathway
Please refer through the normal ECG referrals process to WWL (Adults).
Patients Under 16
Different Pathway Required
WWL will no longer accept a GP referral for an ECG for a patient under 16. Children who need an ECG must be referred through paediatrics who will arrange the ECG and will also analyse the results.
